Full-time Positions

Education Administrative Coordinator

The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) has an immediate opening for a full time Administrative Coordinator in the Education Department.

This position is responsible for coordinating administrative aspects of programs and initiatives including planning events, database and document management, tracking statistics, creating multi-media and video projects, and supporting program volunteers.

Requirements:

  • College degree
  • Three to five years office experience, or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience with the ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines and manage to assigned budget
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment

An equine background and dressage experience are an asset. Some travel to support events may be required.

Accounts Receivable Coordinator

The United States Dressage Federation, a national non-profit equine organization located at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, has an immediate opening in the Accounting Department for a full-time Accounts Receivable Coordinator. Applicants for this position must be detail oriented with a proven ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and handle, update and maintain sensitive information in a confidential, timely and professional manner. The applicant will be responsible for performing and completing all activities related to processing the company's accounts receivables and payroll.

Some of the duties include:

  • Generating customer invoices and statements
  • Maintaining customer accounts and files
  • Researching and resolving customer irregularities or inquiries
  • Resolving all overdue account balances
  • Establishing a strong working relationship with all internal company departments
  • Communicating with customers via phone and e-mail
  • Preparing daily cash receipts and deposits
  • General ledger account reconciliation
  • Preparing accounts for month end closing
  • Processing incoming mail
  • Processing payroll and maintaining payroll records
